Today’s quantum computers are stuck on the Hundeds of Qubits when the real world needs millions. We can wait for decades for perfect quantum processors, or now we can exist together now. We believe that time is now.
Today we announce software that makes distributed quantum computing work. I am reassuring three research prototypes to advance in Cisco’s quantum network strategy:
- Quantum compiler: The first distributed quantum compiler in the network that allows quantum algorithms is the first network distributed distributed compiler Quantum. As part of this, we also announce the industrial first compiler supporting the distributed correction of quantum errors.
- Quantum: Demo application resistant to EveSdropper with Guarant Fosics, which is not promised from classic software.
- Quantum synchronization: Demo Coordination Coordination Coordination The Decisions used to allow correlated decisions across distributed rent for classical use.
All three applications are running on a united quantum network software magazine, a vital infrastructure that makes quantum computers to work separately.
At our virtual quantum summit next week, organized by the research team Cisco Quantum Labs, we will show everything live and make the prototype Quantum Compiler for download.
Building a complete quantum network tray
At Cisco, we have always believed in approach to building a robust and high -performance system. For classic networks we design and create this magazine from the ground up – our own silicon, integrated hardware systems and all layers of software that control and manage everything. It is a philosophy that allowed us to pioneer Mary from the basic technology of classic Internet, from the core of the data center to the brim of the wireless networks and all connectivity between them.
This is by approaching the system level to the quantum network acceptance. Just as we did for classic Internet, we create a complete network stack from the ground up: the development of a quantum network chip, control software including protocols and controllers for network management and quantum network, which Solva in a quantum and classical world.
After announcing our Quantum Network Start chip, which generates 200+ millions of cloth photon peir per second, we are pleased to announce that the software that creates Quantum Networking News.
Our united Quantum Networking software has three layers of capacities:
- Application Include Quantum Networking for Quantum and Classical Use boxes. We are annanti availability of the code distributed distributed quantum computer technology that allows efficient implementation of quantum algorithms in a network quantum data center;
- Management A layer that contains quantum network protocols and algorithms to support a wide set of Quantf network applications as well as manage a wide set of devices (hardware and software) that form a quantum network (a ,,,,
- Layer of equipment This consists of SDK and API for physical devices as well as libraries of emulated and simulated devices.
Quantum Compile Cisco prototype: network compilation for quantum circuits
Part of what we are next week is the first quantum compiler designed for distributed quantum computer technology across network processors. This compilation allows efficient and scaling of circuits across multiple processors in the quantum data center. It achieves this by distributing the quantum circuit and planning the initial generation and distribution to facilitate the transfer of quantum state across these processors.
What is unique (and the first industry) is that it is responsible for the requirements for quantum connections between processors and supports the distributed correction of quantum errors. Existing compilers only target circuits for individual computers. The bear is compiled for computers connected to a network potentially made of heterogeneous quantum computing technologies and can distribute this divided circuit across the entire processor data center, all connected via a quantum network.
If the organization builds a scalable and operable quantum computational infrastructure, it needs this ability to be right and finds out how many quantum nodes they need and what types of computing technologies work best for different parts of their algorithm. For example, pharmaceutical companies need this to operate drug discovery algorithms that are too large or complex for individual machines; Financial companies need this for simulations that require different types of computing forces and for the scope of their infrastructure, and research institutions need this to innovate new quantum algorithms and types of calculations.
Solving cases of classic use through quantum networks
While many in the industry are debating when Quantum Compute Technologies will bring true business value, a demonstration of Cisco’s quantum network applications in case of classical use shows that time is now.
Quantum Alert (Proveable EaveSDROPPER detection) He uses quantum physics to detect where bad actors contradict the operation of the organization. When photons are distributed through a quantum network, any attempt to capture communication changes Quantum and triggers an immediate alarm. It works along with existing encryption, such as hypocritography (PQC) or other cryptographic schemes. Quantum alerts protects against attacks on harvest-on-decrypt as a layer next to any software scheme.
Quantum Sync (Coordination of Decision) Using Quantum Start, so the distributed system can make correlated decisions without sending messages. Think about it as two nodes-alice and the bob-everybody gets a special corner correlated in the box. If Alice opens the box and finds a “head” on its corner, Bob is Guaranlad to find “tails”. An example of use for quantum synchronization is in high -frequency trading, where milliseconds equal millions and financial institutions risk losing money for coordination problems every day. Our demonstration uses OU Quantum simulator with real protocols.
The actual creation of quantum creation
Cisco Quantum Labs and Outshift teams created a complete prototype solution for control, management and monitoring of quantum networks based on initial establishment across applications in Quantum and in classic computational spaces. Our approach works with any quantum computing platform, whether superconducting, diseased ions, photonic or other. Like Cisco for classic internet.
